I received a different version of the card than the one I ordered. I had ordered a g3959a, but they shipped a G3918A instead. Once connected to the hard drive, the drive produces the typical metallic clicking noise of the read/write head, and the disk is not detected at all. This is a scam.

If you read carefully the product title, you can see the PCB you ordered is G3918A and it is compatible with the USB PCBG3959A, you just need to move the rom chip from the G3959A to G3918A and then you can continue to check the drive situation, not sure what tools you have to test the drive after the PCB and ROM chip swap. ROM swap is very important.
